I don’t think there are many of us who will be sorry to see the back of 2020. What a strange year it’s been! Such a difficult time for so many of us on so many different levels. Many have struggled with health, with business and the personal toll this all takes.
My heart goes out to all of you who have lost someone in this pandemic, to all of you who have struggled on to keep your businesses afloat, to those who haven’t been able to hug their loved ones or sit with them when they really needed it and to anyone who has struggled for any reason through this dark year. There are so many stories out there.
There have been positives to this year though, let’s not forget. Communities pulled together, individuals volunteered to help where they could, many of us actually got to know our neighbours, and of course a big thank you to the wonderful key workers. NHS staff, carers, shop and delivery drivers, anyone and everyone who carried on working throughout, often long and arduous hours, to help keep us all safe and looked after. Thank you!
I am really happy to still be speaking to the same people I was speaking to in January this year, that you have all made it through, and I hope to still be speaking to you all in December 2021.
So with 2020 summed up as briefly as I can, Carrie-ann and I would like to wish you all a peaceful and lovely Christmas and may 2021 bring you health, happiness and prosperity.
