The only other time I remember the Hillhead show being postponed was back in 2009, when, due to the recession, it was decided to reschedule the show to 2010. 10 years on and it has been postponed again, this time because of the pandemic we are currently living through.

Back in January I marked the dates on our new wall planner, started planning the new stand and was excitedly looking forward to the 3 days every 2 years that I can meet up with all the people I speak to on the phone and get a chance to say thank you in person for their continued business. It’s a chance to cement old relationships and form new and I confess I am disappointed that it can’t go ahead.

This week would have seen all the final preparations ready for the show to start next week, and instead I am working from home with my cats for company. Still, times are as they are, and there is nothing that can be done about it apart from to share some pictures of the glorious weather we enjoyed at the 2018 show and to hope that everyone makes it through the pandemic both healthy and solvent and I look forward to seeing you all in 2021.
